FRANCOIS VAUTOUR
BIOGRAPHY
Francois Vautour, a native of Canada East of Montreal an Acadian who traces his ancestry to the 18th century French settlers of Eastern Canada. The eight youngest of nine children a musical family, he was raised in a nurturing home by wonderful loving parents his father a coal miner and his mother a housewife filled with love laughter and the arts leading him to explore the theatrical stage.
After dabbling in different professional fields in the early 80ies Francois was approached by a local production company to take part in a commercial which led him to a appear and debut in several television commercials, the first one being the lead in an international Kentucky Fried Chicken commercial. Thus opening the doors to commercials for leading advertisers acting, infomercials, voiceovers and modeling.
In the mid 80ies Francois combined his acting experiences as creator and producer of " Looks and Lifestyles" A television series on beauty tips and trends shortly after that his success eventually brought him to Miami Florida where he retooled and relaunched "Looks and Lifestyles" as a syndicated series which featured interviews with renowned stars, celebrities, Surgeons, Doctors, Authors and segments on make overs and fashion trends.
The series aired for several years in the U.S. and Canada With Francois often traveling to Beverly Hills to interview such luminaries as James Stuart, Hugh O'Brien, Eva Gabor, Angie Dickenson, Omar Shariff, the cast of the golden girls and nearly every major star from day and nite time soap opera world. Also hosting numerous medical shows including "Natural Health For Chiropractic" a long running syndicated series that examined the benefits of alternative therapy, Francois also produced several segments on Plastic Surgery from the operating room of the Baptist Memorial Hospital in Miami which was televised nationwide.
In the early 90ies Francois was approached by Golden West Productions out of Los Angeles to do a couple of appearances for a soap role in Secret Passions which he was cast as a news anchor which lead him to another new show playing lead with actress/singer Peggy March A Soap show called Deceision.
In the early 90ies Francois relocated to Beverly Hills California making his home there continuing to succeed in the television industries.
In 1995 Francois was offered to signature his name to a well known unisex skincare line as a celebrity spokesperson for the entire western hemisphere and parts of Europe. He has been very successful and has hosted on major networks including Canada’s Home Shopping Network, Q.V.C in the U.S.A, Speers Network in Nashville and also in Europe on Home Shopping and the Internet international
Currently Francois now makes his home between Beverly Hills Ca and Florida where he operates his own production company. He currently created, wrote and hosts new television shows called "Win Line For Singles" and Speaking from the Heart.
Francois continues to host international infomercials, commercials write scripts for Networks, Cables and short stories.
